" After Allah mentions the desires of man (3:14)- opposite gender, children, wealth, land, etc, He concludes the ayah with “That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return.” If you think your desires are being challenged by the beauty of the opposite gender, your want to amass wealth, etc then imagine.. the One who created all of this saying “What is with Me is so much better than this.” Your worldly desires in reality are supposed to fuel your desire for the next life. If what you desire is so tempting, than that which is with Allah is far more tempting. "
